The Road Goes on Forever and The Party Never Ends

Been a few months since I've updated, but I'm sure your all used to it by now. It's been a whirlwind, I might add.

So, I decided to get out of the comfort zone and hopefully experience some growth. Either I did not persue hard enough or it was just not meant to be, so I decided that I would quit with the attempt to head to the war zone, for now. I left my career of 10 years and went to work for a company that specializes in visual innovation.

We are a govt. contractor and do quite a bit of work for the Department of Defense but the sweet spot seems to be secondary education. We provide a series of visualization labs with a focus on interactive 3d content. Universities and Community Colleges "get" how powerful this is for educating our current generation of gamers. I could give you a bunch of stats about visualization and how it helps us to learn, but I'm sure your here for some of my witty repartee.

First allow me to say that the road is going on forever as this company is headquartered in Alabama. So, I could be moving to the Dirty South, again.

Honestly, I never dreamed I would have left Texas.

Now In the last 6 weeks I've been on the road about 4 of them and let me say that air travel is not suffering, period. Every plane I am on is full and airports are like a nightmare. Coming back to Atlanta for the first time in years was like a bad dream. Holy shit all the brilliant red lipstick, big hair and accents as thick as "mammy" from Gone With the Wind were almost too much to bear. Honestly, its no wonder people from the south are stereo typed as "dumb" or "slow". I certainly don't think they speak the english I was taught.

I was in Romania for awhile as well, but even their broken english was easier to understand than the jibberish I hear around here.

So as a responsible tax payer, I'm now paying other peoples mortgages, apparently own a small portion of some banks and automotive makers. I'm wondering if anyone has noticed that the current administration has kept most of the previous administration's policies in place? Our country is doomed to continue it's downward spiral due to our current two party system. Each has their own agenda it seems and each continues to push it.

I wish I knew the answers, but I'm certainly not smart enough to run the country and I'm not sure I would want to...
