5 years..5 fucking years. Can you believe it?
So I'm going to set the record straight as I see it on Pat Tillman.
He was a modern day hero. Before all of you want to cry about the sacrifices others have made, I want you to put yourself in an NFL stadium, our version of hero worship, with millions of dollars in the bank and contract renewal coming.
Then tell me you would walk away. Go ahead, all you hard headed Hooah's. Tell me how you know beyond a shadow of a doubt you would cash all that in and ruck up.
Did other rich kids serve, sure. But where they killed by their own unit and then was it covered up?
What, too sensitive to tell the truth? I challenge anyone to see where a Silver Star starts and who has to approve it and then go research the Tillman story and tell me that someone, somewhere was not trying to get this to be something it was not.
Its a black eye on my Regiment and the leadership that wrote and approved the award. I find those involved to be an embarassment to the unit. Anyone who signed the award is full of shit.
Go read the Creed, see where they basically wiped their ass on it.
I salute you Pat and your willingness to question authority.
