My guess is there are many, many stories just like this across the 75th. Hell, I know a young Ranger who had his leg amputated below the knee and he has been back sending the jihadist off to search for 72 virgins for quite some time.
I ran into him at Ft. Benning just the other day and I was just amazed at how good he looked in ACU's, could not even tell he had a prosthetic leg.
The Regiment continues to be the largest SOF force in theater and runs more missions outside the FOB than anyone. Leaders of Al Queada and the Taliban are turning down "promotions" for two reasons, Preadator Drones and "The Boys" showing up in the middle of the night.
