Prayer by the Ranger Chaplin at Eddie's ceremony:

Our god and our creator,
In the universe of battle, perhaps there is nothing more to be feared than a Ranger non commissioned officer. They are the backbone, the heart, the blood and the muscle of this incredible organization and they are the ones who lead and motivate us all to move further, faster and fight harder.

And as we gather to observe this change of responsibility, we ask that you continue to bless the NCO's of this battalion, so that the wicked enemies of our country would cower in corners like the hunted animals that they are.

Yes, may Rangers forever crush the wicked and all who oppose life, liberty and the United States of America.
