The Thoreau in Me

So..digging through some crap, I found some stuff.

Written on small notebook pages which were hidden in what we called an "elephant rubber" lets start with the Ranger school stuff. This "literary" classic is 20 years old.

A little hunger, sweat stress and pain
Nothing to lose and the Tab to gain

I came to far, put up with enough shit
I'll make myself drive on, I'll nver quit

I've come along way, turned my life around
Started at the bottom, gained alot of ground

Some may laugh, to them its a joke indeed
But I live each day by the Ranger Creed

They don't think Im serious, but you can bet its true
I'd gladly die for the red white and blue

Dedictated to Battallion, God and Country
My Wife and child help to motivate me.

But enough of this mushy shit, lets talk about now
I'm taking this Black and Gold tab back somehow

So if you want to slug out, get out of my way
I'm here to work, not to play

Those that know me can guess what
I'll sling bullshit or I'll put my boot in your butt

so what it all boils down too
is searching myself through and through

Finding that something when I'm in a haze
after all, its only 58 days
